The capital of the barony of Namverg in Sormark lays close to the borders of Frooyla, Arvaal, and Hoeskal. Main roads run from here to Resoborg, Ojyren, Viborg, and Olfjorby.
Its central location in the country makes that more organizations have settled here than in the other barony capitals, with the exception of Stjordvik, of course.
It is said the hero Volmir came from here.
The city is the largest pelt and leather producer in the country, when the wind blows westerly a really unpleasant smell is an unfortunate byproduct.

Haunekall Condiments
Famous in all of Sormark for selling no less than two different flavors of Kabees, made of the finest mushrooms. They also sell horseradish and pickled onions and cabbage but those aren't as popular here.
Heinsen Square
The city's central square is famous for being the scene of the 'Escape of Eleven'. These criminals were being transported to stand trial when manticore riding spellcasters appeared and took off with the eleven. It has never become clear who they were and none were ever seen again.
Nethen Tailors
Started by a master tailor from Mifora, his granddaughters now run this shop. Their bespoke coats are considered such masterpieces that those with money sometimes travel all the way from GICOM to acquire one. Whatever you order, they promise it will suit you.
Stennen Quarry
Not far from the city a huge deposit of travertine was found in ages past. Ever since it has been mined and used to build most of the stone buildings in the country and even beyond. These days a huge pit over fifty meters deep exists and it seems they might be running out of stone.

Companions of Elric
Hjälpens Hus is only a little smaller than then Companions HQ in Stjordvik. The building is the largest on New Silia Way which is one of the major thoroughfares in the city. Two warehouses were built nearby as this is one of the major logistics centers for the eastern countries.
The ever-busy Gunbritt Quist leads her people with much enthusiasm. In the very little spare time that she has, she writes pointed poetry.
Temples
Ancev
Former lawyer, Vensel Bruun, a middle-aged man with a good head of hair and a voice like butter has become a follower of Ancev and is actively recruiting worshipers. So far he has been quite successful at this, his flock grows daily and already numbers in the hundreds. Services are held at the Poised Picks Pub for now. Once there are enough donations he plans to buy a building to serve as temple.
Ulaa
The House of Harmony is not the largest temple in town but it is better attended than any of the others. The town is quite industrious and this is reflected in the amount of worship here. In fact, at least one priest can always be found at Stennen Quarry outside of town.
Foreman Loke Sundqvist is a former leather-worker who came to the flock late but had a meteoric rise. He leaves most services to his subordinate Siv Torvalds, a slight woman from Stjordvik with a voice that belies her stature.

Bowman-Outersea Cereals & Commodities
Now a regional storehouse of the large conglomerate, this used to be Karvelas Oilseed Refinery before it was sold to BOCC.
It is run by the old and curmudgeonly Stellan Karvelas and Miforan Jean Fitzmoran, a woman with the patience of an angel.
