Ancev (AN-kev) is usually depicted as a stern person of indistinct features and gender. They teach that every man or woman can achieve success as long as they are willing to reach for it. You make your own luck but only if you are willing to do what it takes.

Current Clack

Ancev was unheard of until recently but he has quickly gained a following in Sormark and other places ever since they revealed themselves.

Dogma

There is a chance of happiness for everyone but most people are not willing to go out on a limb for it. The vast majority don't have what it takes to do what needs to be done, those who do will get their just rewards. You do not need to beat the world to get what you want, just the other person that wants what you want. All you need to do is be more committed than the other guy and let nothing keep you from your goal.

Clergy

Ancev's priests try to exemplify their god's tenets and usually have a can-do attitude. Most have fulfilled their ambitions and all that is left for them is to climb the ranks of the priesthood. The best way to do so is by showing others what Ancev teaches and how it can help them.

Vestments

Priests wear comfortable clothes, often dark with yellow or orange accents. They wear a brass ring as their holy symbol.

Temples

Ancev's temples are anything but uniform; any building that is available will do. And in cases where a new building is built from scratch the style is usually up to tastes of the priest initiating the construction.

Jurva

Former lawyer, Vensel Bruun, a middle-aged man with a good head of hair and a voice like butter has become a follower of Ancev and is actively recruiting worshipers. So far he has been quite successful at this, his flock grows daily and already numbers in the hundreds. Services are held at the Poised Picks Pub for now. Once there are enough donations he plans to buy a building to serve as temple.

Midtal

The arrival of this new god put the government in something of a bind; they did not want to offer any room to an interloper but they could hardly deny an actual god. They certainly weren't happy to see Ancev's popularity soar, potentially upsetting the fine balance they had created. In the end they decided to help out, finding a suitable building for a new temple, and even offering many volunteers to help out wherever was needed.

The Chapel of Conviction is housed in a former warehouse on Zonolite Road in the Pekkun Ziek.

The founder and head priest is Elgur Boarsund, a famous musician who incorporates music into the many services.

Stjordvik

The enigmatic Malu Kah, no one is sure if they are male, female, human, elf, something in-between, started a new temple in an old weaver's shop, The House of the Awakened. It is located in the city's Forum District, on Tailor Way and services there are very well attended. The popularity of this new god seems to go across all social, economic, and racial divides. One can find dock workers, merchants, bards, criminals, addicts, soldiers, and more at the temple at all hours.
