One of the last large cities on civilized lands as the people of Otteun call it. The city's main purpose is as a stopping point between Godfall and the rest of the civilized world. Seeing as it's origins and growth had more to do with caravans than populace, made it a hodgepodge of warehouses, taverns and brothels. A good breeding ground for Rhes Haghed to grow and get wealthy. The Bruised But Not Broken settled themselves shortly after, as merchants and brothels had them swamped with protection jobs.

Now there exists a silent understanding between Rhes Haghed and Bruised but not Broken. As long as Rhes Hadhed are present the Bruised have a steady supply of work and as long as the Bruised are present the merchants feel it's safe enough so the Rhes can rob them. So the Bruised don't rough them up to much and the Rhes stay away from high profile clients.

As there is little in the ways of local products beside just enough to keep the town sustained, the main source of income comes from taxing the caravans and what is spent on drink, gambling and women by caravans and adventurers either going to or coming from the Godfall.

Locations

Munn Base

One of the higher class brothels in town, they are housed in a large stone building made to look like a small castle just off Red Brick Lane. While definitely more expensive than most, they offer many things most others don't, including more than just human and dwarf lads and lasses of negotiable virtue.

Red Brick Lane

Though not the official thoroughfare of Martell, it is bigger and busier. A wide road paved with clay and red bricks is lined with nothing but taverns, inns, brothels, and gambling houses. Most of which are all rolled in a single establishment. From the Snuggly Duckling to Madam's Exotic Playhouse to the Crimson Dice, all catering to what ever sin needs to be indulged.

The Sarodin

The largest casino in town is a large building of two floors. Inside it's all quite gaudy with a large gaming floor offering all kinds of games of chance. Weapons need to be handed over before entering and gambling can only be done with chips which can be exchanged for money. Overpriced drinks are delivered by scantily dressed staff. The second floor holds private gaming rooms for high roller guests; one needs at least 10 gp in chips to be allowed here.

The Snuggly Duckling

A well known establishment on Red Brick Lane that only caters to members of Bruised but not Broken. Owned and run by Dame Olimara, a dwarvish woman with a heart as big as her beard, but she will carry a grudge into the grave and the ends of the nine hells.

Merchant Houses

Thûrash

Due to local circumstances a large contingent of Godfallers is always present at the warehouses on Nollk Lane. The office is right across the way so they can keep an eye out at all times.

In charge of everything, but most of all security, is a fifty year veteran of Bruised But Not Broken; a crusty dwarven man by the name of Tarvo Rulvir.
