Owned by Sarnan Yaphiphe.

This small, dark pad has a supple leather exterior inscribed with sigils that only make sense to those versed in thieves’ cant and the arcane arts. It can be folded open twice to reach its real dimensions.

As long as you own the Ledger of Legerdemain and are attuned to it, it has the following properties.

Peeled You can use the Ledger of Legerdemain as a spellcasting focus for your spells.

Ker Kura You have a bonus to Arcana checks equal to half your Proficiency Bonus.

Affidavit Flash When you find a ritual wizard spell of 1st level or higher, you can add it to the Ledger of Legerdemain if it is of a spell level you can prepare and if you can spare the time to decipher and copy it.

For each level of the spell, the process takes 10 minutes and costs 10 gp.

Once you have spent this time and money, you can cast the spell directly from the Ledger of Legerdemain as a ritual spell. Doing such weakens the bonds in the Ledger, after casting any specific ritual spell three times it disappears from the Ledger. It can always be added again via the process above.

The Ledger of Legerdemain can contain a number of ritual spells equal to your level divided by three, rounded down.

Paum Fuzz You can store spell scrolls inside the Ledger of Legerdemain and cast any one of them without having to take it from the Ledger.

Parenthesis When you find a wizard spell of 1st level or higher, you can add it to the Ledger of Legerdemain if it is of a spell level you can prepare and if you can spare the time to decipher and copy it.

For each level of the spell, the process takes 4 hours and costs 100 gp.

When you have done so, the spell is added to your spells known list, if you don’t have a spells known list it does nothing. You can have only one spell stored like this. Should you go through the process again with a different spell it overwrites the previous spell stored. At 13th level you gain a second slot to store a spell that gets added to your spells known list.
