Haklur Desert

This desert is the result of an event known as The Collapse.

It was once the site of the capital of the dwarven realm of Baltur. When the Collapse happend and the sky fell down, a blast so hot it vaporized the lake the capital was built upon, rushed hundreds of miles in all directions.

These days there is almost no evidence of anything having ever been there. Buildings were razed to their foundations and no plants are able to grow there. It is just a cold, empty, almost completely flat stretch of land that is avoided by almost every creature.
