A necklace and her daughter disappeared the night before the End of Summer Ball.
The cashbook in Mia's bedroom showed she had made a donation to the church of Istus. Also found in her room was the book The Brotherhood of the Stationary Sweater.
Mia's best friend Helen (from Da'Hashim) is at the Stiltorq club, so is her boyfriend Olav. Both claim not to have seen her in days.
A bloody vest with a ransom note is found on the mansion grounds.
In the end it turns out that Mia staged her kidnapping and that Ron Greenvale, the man in charge of building up the grounds for the ball is her father.
