Merric might not have had much interest in his family business, he did have an appreciation for the arts. He was an avid painter and liked to breakout in song when spirits flowed richly and warmed his belly. As the years went by he thought himself to have out grown Drendeven and decided to travel. He would spent the next few years roaming the Loveria and surrounding countries as free as he could. The money he took with him didn't last as long as he thought. He would make money selling paintings and playing pubs, taverns and street corners. A Halfling born in the village of Drendeven in Loveria. The Glenoak family runs the Glenoak Whiskey Distillery headed by Stuart Glenoak. Merric is one of the younger cousins of the Master Distiller. Merric has brown, curly hair that's started to grey. He has a stocky build and a general lively and positive disposition.
Life in Drendeven
Merric was born about 80 years before recent events in the Glenoak family. One of the bigger and well known families of Drendeven and owners of the Glenoak Distillery. As is tradition all family members work for the Distillery in any shape or form. From distilling to logistics and agriculture.
Merric however didn't have much interest in whiskey besides consumption, becoming somewhat of a black sheep in the family. Even though the treatment from his family degraded year after year, Merric was always a welcome sight in any pub or tavern. He would gladly spend his family's money and was known to be the life of every party. He was often found on a stage, table or bar singing and playing the fiddle. He might not have had the greatest of voices he did possess a magnetic charisma that drew people towards him.
