Created when a ball of energy, by turns pale indigo and radiant violet, streaked into Eldron’s clockwork toy; this brass amulet contains tiny interlocking gears and lapis lazuli colored orbs. Anyone putting an ear to the amulet can hear faint whirring and whooshing noises coming from within. Every time it is closely observed it seems different from before.

While you are wearing the amulet and are attuned to it, it has the following properties.

Knibb It can be used as your arcane focus.

Hooke When you make an attack roll, you can forgo rolling the d20 to get a 10 on the die. Once used, this property can't be used again until the next dawn.

Quare When you roll for damage, you can forgo rolling the dice and instead have all dice show average results, the first one rounded up, the second rounded down, and so on. Once used, this property can't be used again until the next dawn.

Delander When you take lightning or necrotic damage, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 1d4 (to a minimum of 0). Keep a running total of all damage negated this way.

Molyns The amulet can store up to 1st level spells. Spells cast from the amulet have a save DC of 13 and an attack bonus of +5. You can imbue the amulet with a spell if you're attuned to it and it's empty. To do so, you cast the spell while holding the amulet. The spell is stored in the amulet instead of having any effect. Casting the spell must require either 1 action or 1 minute or longer, and the spell's level must be no higher than the amulet’s maximum. If the spell belongs to the school of abjuration and requires material components that are consumed, you must provide them, but they can be worth half as much as normal. Once imbued with a spell, the amulet can't be imbued again until the next dawn. Currently the amulet contains a Silver Sliver spell.

Silver Sliver

1st-level conjuration

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: 90 feet

Components: V, S, M (a length of titanium wire)

A tendril-like sliver of silver shoots out from you to a creature that you can see within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. If the attack hits, the creature takes 3d6 lightning damage and has disadvantage on their next roll.
