This crazy Dwarf is an old buddy of Dauphine's Great Grandfather.
He fought with Nochume in the Pine Wars and they went on adventuring afterwards. Mathari was still a very young Dwarf by then, but a loyal friend and always in for a laugh.
Nochume used to tell about the pranks he played and the adventures they had together. One adventurer crazier than the other.
Like the time he got back to the inn with a treasure map. The Treasure of the Stone Dragon. Mathrari had never heard of a Stone Dragon, but it’s hoard was a giant mound!
The fact that dragons had not been seen in ages did not ring a bell and he spend many coin on the map.
