An archeological site in the Amorgus Swamps run by House Ditta.
It might have been an ancient temple complex. A number of statues of tall, slender beings with almost no ears, long fingers, and deep sunken eyes can be found around the area.
Event
Semi-translucent, floating orbs about a foot across came out of the complex and killed most of the people there, using a never before seen kind of magic.
Everyone but the protagonists died during the attack with the exception of one man: "Red". Together they started a trek back to civilisation.
