The party arrived from their adventures on Ipanema in a hallway connected to two rooms, mostly likely carved into dense rock by some kind of creature or magic.

Along the hallway are 14 portals, each with a sign over them, likely showing the destinations. Most of the signs are written in alphabets and languages unknown to our friends. The one they arrived through is marked "Corcovado". The recognize one other sign immediately: "Sormark". There is also a sign in Dethek, the Dwarvish language, it says "Hrvral" which means nothing to any of our friends.

Of the two rooms one is empty, in the other is a large bin which contains their missing clothes and equipment. At the bottom of the bin are the belongings of another hapless traveler; 44 gp, a book titled How Allet Lost His Ridge and a spellbook.

Our friends have a good look at all the portals, considering if it could be worthwhile to explore and step into one of the unknown portals. But Harpin quickly makes up his mind and steps through the Sormark portal, Regius follows him.

Reb takes quite a long time to make up his mind, tempted by a journey to parts unknown. After about fifteen or twenty minutes he tells Cassandra that he has lost to many friends already and he considers it his duty to keep his current ones safe, so they should remain together. He then also steps into the Sormark portal, followed by the priestess. All four of them have now arrived in Stjordvik.
