Outlanders aren't normally permitted inside Kasar so relatively little is known about the country. The surrounding mountains and The Barrier make it quite hard to get in, should one even wish so.

They are said to be ruled by the Circle; a cabal of some sort?

Geography

Cacar

This volcano is the highest of a whole group of volcanoes, usually referred to as the Cacarites, at the eastern border of the country. The entire area has been active for as long as anyone can remember; lava usually flows slowly but every so often there are explosive eruptions flinging rocks, dust, gas and pyroclastic material high up into the atmosphere. Persistent rumors claim that a portal to Hell exists here and is the source of Kasar's power.

Vykamupel

This area used to draw visitors to its thermal springs since before the Collapse. The surface consists of shimmering, snow-white limestone, shaped over millennia by calcite-rich springs. Dripping slowly down the mountainside, mineral-rich waters collect in and cascade down the mineral terraces, into multicolored pools below. It can be seen from the hills on the opposite side of the valley, 20 km away.
