This beautifully crafted transverse silver flute fits any musician perfectly. It was commissioned for the prominent and acclaimed bard Barsurf Proppeak. It is said that when she played this instrument it was like a magic wand, entrancing any who would gaze at her, captivating even rabbits at play.
To attune to the flute you need to play it and succeed at a DC 15 Perform check, you can only try once per day.
As long as this item is in your possession and you are attuned to it, you can use it as your arcane focus and it has the following properties.
The item has four charges that refresh after a long rest. Should you use the last charge, roll a d20 and let the DM know the result. The item does not get destroyed on any die result.
Arpeggi As an action you can expend a charge and play the flute towards a single creature within 60 feet of you, sending discordant notes. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 psychic damage.
Amoroso As a reaction you can expend a charge and wave the flute left and right quickly. If there are any active effects (such as a Cure Wounds spell) that restore hit points within 60 feet, the one nearest to you restores 1d6 extra hit points.
