This area east of the Dala swamp contains thousands of weathered limestone pillars. Some of the tallest pinnacles reach heights of up to 3.5 meters. Only when you really squint your eyes do they look anything like fingers but this hasn't stopped local superstitions; no one has settled nearby. This has engendered a rampant growth of the local flora and fauna.
Nuc Lanat
This northern region encompasses the world's largest tropical wetland area, and the world's largest flooded grasslands. Roughly 80% of the floodplains are submerged during the rainy seasons, nurturing a biologically diverse collection of aquatic plants and helping to support a dense array of animal species.
