An organisation of all female assassins for hire, named for the ancient [[battle of Caluth]].
Richar's research in the Companions library:
* Assassin’s guild, likely founded in Midtal, 4 centuries ago. They were thought to be removed from that city but then started showing up in other countries.
* Named for the battle of Caluth that took place 7 centuries ago, said battle is notable for the quite smaller side being composed of only female combatants who killed nearly the entire opposing force. It is thought the assassins are all female as well. Numerous of the assassins killed in Midtal were men but they were likely hired mercenaries and not the actual assassins.
* The original assassins were fighters for a cause, looking to rule Midtal. The new assassins that popped up in other countries are strictly for hire, very hard to find and expensive but anecdotally highly successful.
* The last century or so the widows and their hired mercenaries have been countered more effectively due to more magical defense and better trained bodyguards.
