Description
Tim Cratchett is gigantic, even for a half orc, standing 7 feet tall and nearly 3 feet wide. His appearance has been described by some as a 'scary', 'fear inducing' or 'get out of my way, there is a monster there!' (note, the last responder did not complete the survey presented). Normally he goes dressed in a long green robe finished with white fur. A large backpack is hoisted on his back bristling with weapons of all sorts. His arms show the scars of an experienced soldier. His dark red curls are long and free; free as his genial face, sparkling eyes, open hand, cheery voice, unconstrained demeanour, and his joyful air.
Upon closer inspection (which most people only dare after copious amounts of liquid luck) most come to realise that the imposing looks hide one of the most caring and trusting persons this side of the Sarodin Sea (and the odds for the same being true on the other side are close to triple digits). A fervent lover of drink, music, laughter and good food this conclusion is drawn by many a tavern regular.
He carries the Landsknechtschutz shield.
Biography
Early life
Born to a human father and orcish mother in Dogbourne Tim was strangely small for the first 10 years of his life. This is also the period where he received his nickname, Tiny. As of his 10th year this changed when he entered into puberty and grow to nearly 6 feet in the span of 3 years. During his formative years he was provided with great care and a lot of love by his parents. At the age of 2 Yevelda decided she was no longer able to stay in the human town (though she was well loved by the townspeople) and after discussing the matter with Marley they parted ways on good terms after 5 years of marriage.
Teenage years
Shortly after Tim turned 12 his father met Sariel Meliamne with whom he started a relationship. A year and a half later they welcomed into the world Eryn Cratchett, Tim's half sister. The relationship between Tim and his stepmother was as good as the relationship between a step parent and a teenage child can be expected to be. he was, however, incredibly protective of his sister who he loves with all his heart. At the age of 15 his step-mother Sariel and father Marley met and became friends with Shava and Peter. Over the course of a year Sariel and Shava fell in love with one another, as did Peter and Marley. A few months later again his family life was uprooted in a major way when Sariel and Shava moved back to Fir Lanear leaving Shava and Peter's daughter Naill with Marley, Peter, Tim and Eryn.
Adult life
At the age of 17 Tim left his hometown and set out into the wider world looking for adventure. Based on his appearance he was quickly hired as a bouncer for the rougher taverns in the nearest large town. Though he blended in well with the regulars and non visitors alike he soon yearned for wider travels. Having picked up some skills with weaponry he soon joined a mercenary company and travelled through many countries making a decent name for himself amongst other guards for hire as a strong, capable and dependable comrade.
After 3 years of travels Tim met Eldron, Teresa and Maybell. This party he joined to challenge himself more and in the search of wider adventures.
