House Ditta

A mercantile guild originally from Haza and owned by House Meloi, they were one of the first to set up their own trade network with offices in most major cities. It is tradition for the heir to the throne to run the company until they are called to the highest function.

By most accounts House Ditta is the pre-eminent and richest merchant guild in the world.

Where many other merchant houses are wont to resort to underhanded tactics, House Ditta usually buys out the competition and invests heavily in security.

Offices

Avale

Gander & Empty Shipping was the first large acquisition done by House Ditta, giving them a stepping stone in Dolac and other countries south of the Sarodin Sea. Ever since they have been headquartered in Gander House, a late Miforan architectural style marvel on Talview Road in the Pell Point neighborhood. The place has been extended twice over, leaving it without its impressive gardens.

Officially in charge is Hazan Urska Pogas, a woman with a sharp nose for a deal, and host of weekly parties that everyone who is someone wants to be invited to. She leans heavily on local boy made good, Travis Newell, an orphan who started out as a pickpocket, joined the Guild of Stevedores, working his way up the ladder before joining House Ditta.

Banak

Even this far south they have a sizeable presence, having bought Nâlagabil Consignments some time past. Their office can be found on Forgraic Avenue.

It is run by a red-headed man originally from Dolac; Huld Brendis. He has an interest in ancient tools and is known around town as a card shark.

Beljovac

Over half of the docks and the warehouses behind them is known as Ditta Quarter and this is also where their sprawling offices are, on the corner of Kolechia Way, one of the main thoroughfares, and Hunac Street at the edge of the Amber Division.

In typical Hazan fashion a scion of one of the main noble families has been hired to run the place. Vojvotkinja (duchess) Timea Valtic is a shrewd negotiator and a perfect fit for the job. Wagging tongues claim she uses the resources at her disposal more for her family's welfare than House Ditta's.

Ide Volcar

Ditta Square used to be just one of the numerous squares in the city but then House Ditta was founded here and named for the square. Over time they grew to expand to all the buildings on the square, even spilling out into the streets beyond. Other than most merchant houses, House Ditta believes in paperwork so many of the buildings are mostly filled with cabinets containing shipping forms and reports.

While Princ Zorl Meloi is in charge of the entire company, the Ide Volcar office is run by his good friend Peto Nagas, a daredevil who likes to run along the rooftops of the city.

Korint

The largest merchant presence in town, their three-story building can be found on Poledouris Avenue.

It is run by Zdenek Honadi, a Hazan man with deep black hair, a pencil mustache, and expensive, tailored clothes. He wears a ring and necklace worth more than a house in any of the nearby villages. When talking he tends to nods a lot.

Midtal

They own a number of large warehouses on the Riverfront, permanently guarded by a Bruised But Not Broken detail. Most of their goods are shipped to and from Avale on their own boats with further distribution via caravans to Fir Lanear and the Godfall. The offices can be found in the Old Town Ziek, on Cherry Tree Lane.

A tall and thin Dolac woman with a voracious reading appetite, Joss Zeld, runs this venture with remarkable efficiency.

Stjordvik

Their operations are run from a stately old building in the Forum District, using local contractors for warehousing and other services. House Ditta and the two elven thals move about the same volume of goods these days and have been in competition for more warehouse space for a long time now.

The man in charge is Secoz Rogla, a former mercenary, quite famous back in Haza for his many feats of combat prowess, such as slaying five trolls in one night single-handedly and killing the hydra known as Ventoc.
