This organization from the heartlands is where artists and gourmands congregate to exchange ideas and critique each other's creations. Membership is by invitation only; which comes with its own problems.
Most organize a yearly 'grand feast' and smaller monthly gatherings usually open to the public, often for a fee, but this is all up to the local chapters.
Chapters
Avale
While Dolac food is nothing to write home about in most cases, there is a hardcore group of enthusiasts within this chapter that tries to celebrate the best of the country whenever given the chance. The other members are much more enchanted with foreign food and so there is a friendly competition between the two.
Meetings are held at the Scarlet Bonnet, the bi-weekly Sampler's Surprise is so popular that even though it's anything but cheap, there is a long waiting list.
Banak
While the local food is nothing to write home about, the best chefs can create masterpieces even with very limited resources. And Otteun is not too far away, so quite some good food gets imported for those with the means to afford it. Their monthly 'Taster Feasts' are known for being some of the largest attended events in, probably, the world. Anyone with any culinary panache takes part and tries to out-do the competition, to the delight of those paying the reasonable entrance fee. They organize two large events; the Autumn Leaves Festival and the Annual Stjordvik Regatta & Ball.
