Mist Shard (Hírëmir)

The Mist Shard is a shard of a blue gemstone that used to control the climate in some of the Rennet Cheese Caves.
Appearance
The cool blue shard is approximately 8 cm long. It used to be a moist shard and emanate a gentle mist. Now it just feels cool.
It sat in a skin thin marble bowl on top of a small altar in the back of the Tyurahto Cheese Caves.
Held up with a thin golden wire frame it filled the bowl with mist, but it affected the climate in the entire cave.
This climate proved to be ideal for the Tyurahto Cave Cheeses and elevated their quality to legendary status.
Origin
The Mist Shard was discovered at home, when a round stone rolled from the mantlepiece and fell to bits. Inside was the blue shard.
Dauphines Great Grandfather (Nochume Tyurahto) brought the stone home after an adventure.
One of his fellow adventurers, Mathrari Mahamgimi, bought a map from a con-artist which lead the party to 'The Mound of the Stone Dragon'.
It sounded to good to be true, and it was. The cave lead to a chamber, deep below the surface, which held a giant stone statue of a dragon.
And the mound, it's implied hoard, was just a mound of rocks. Fist sizes, round rocks. Each of the adventurers took home one rock as a reminder
not to let Mathrari buy any more maps when drunk.
The exact whereabouts of the map are unknown, the history of the Stone Dragon has gone lost a long time ago.
Her Great Grandfather still loves to tell stories about this adventure, each time they are a little it different and more fantastical than the previous.
His wife, was also on the adventuring party, she thinks the cave has probably been a temple at some point. The round rocks being offers to the dragon.
