	It turns out the invite was for Bruised But Not Broken.Quadok (Colonel) Ludwig von Bredow doesn't do parties so the invites went to one of his three Ductaks (Majors); Sani Reivred. She is a middle-aged dwarf and a well respected officer. Odrik and Zayn wait for her near Tayon Orthryn and the warlock then uses a ~~suggestion~~ spell; she should go visit every brothel in town and avail herself of the services. 	Izzy sees that the warlock needs rescuing and finds a private spot to use her hat of disguise to turn into an even better looking male half-orc server. 			To everyone's surprise the plan goes off without a hitch and early in the morning Nesmin and Zayn return with a copy of the bet book.

			Irja told the Rhes Haghed people to meet at a pier on the docks in the morning. She gave them the pier number of the one next to the one the party is waiting on, just to frustrate any nefarious plans. She whistles and calls them over, Scurti, Pal, and a number of goons walk over, grumbling. She has Odrik hold the gnome and his book right at the water's edge and tells Scurti; "It’s not that I don’t trust you. Oh wait, no, that’s right, I ''don’t'' trust you."

			She makes sure her tattoo is the first thing to get taken care of. They send a dwarf forwards. “Rizoll,” Irja gives him a curt nod and the pulls up a pant leg, revealing her tattoo. He takes out a wand and soon enough the tracking tattoo is removed. "Can I go now?" the dwarfs says to Scurti as he walks back, "I have a theft and an angry client to deal with."

			Irja asks for the money next and Pal nods to one of the goons who comes forward with a hefty bag of clinking coin. “Put it in here, it’s lead lined, just in case,” Irja says as she pulls a large backpack from behind some crates and hands to Boldrek. Once they are sure everything is in order, Odrik walks towards the quay with Nesmin who is clutching the book against his chest.

			But then suddenly a thick cloud of fog covers the pier and everything around it. "The book, get the book!" Scurti shouts and there's the sound of people moving onto the pier. Then there's a loud splash of something hitting the river. Odrik pushes Nesmin and his book to the floor and keeps hold of him. Confusion reigns and it almost comes to blows.

			Then someone manages to dispel the fog cloud spell and Odrik hands the gnome and his book over to the goons. As they look around they can't seem to find Irja though. They figure the backpack is gone as well but it's still there. However, when they open it, all they find is the books that they used for the practice run. "That tracks," is all Odrik has to say when he is told of the missing money.

			Rhes Haghed has their book and it seems to be the real deal, so they don't care about Irja or the missing money. They go their ways and the party is free to go theirs. They go get a good breakfast and then back to their inn for some sleep they have to catch up on.

			== Turning the Page ==
			It turns out there is a twist in the tale. In the afternoon the door bursts open and Scurti and some goons come barging in. He tells them that the book is empty now and he wants to know what happened. When asked he comments that the gnome can't answer any more questions right now. The party has no idea but wonder if anyone had access to the ink Nesmin used.

			The mobster is very unhappy but right now he has no proof that the party was involved with whatever happened. He warns them not to leave town and then leaves the party in their now door-less room. They decide to change inns but when they get downstairs the innkeeper tells them they are not allowed to get rooms elsewhere, though he does offer them a new room with a door. For now the party accepts, though they don't like the current situation much.
