As long as you own the Ledger d'Arcane and are attuned to it, it has the following properties.

'''Peeled''' You can use the Ledger d'Arcane as a spellcasting focus for your spells.

'''Ker Kura''' You have a bonus to Arcana checks equal to half your Proficiency Bonus.

'''Affidavit Flash''' When you find a ''ritual'' wizard spell of 1st level or higher, you can add it to the Ledger d'Arcane if it is of a spell level you can prepare and if you can spare the time to decipher and copy it.

For each level of the spell, the process takes 10 minutes and costs 10 gp. 

Once you have spent this time and money, you can cast the spell directly from the Ledger d'Arcane as a ritual spell. Doing such weakens the bonds in the Ledger, after casting any specific ritual spell three times it disappears from the Ledger. It can always be added again via the process above. 

The Ledger d'Arcane can contain a number of ritual spells equal to your level divided by three, rounded down.

'''Paum Fuzz''' You can store spell scrolls inside the Ledger d'Arcane and cast any one of them without having to take it from the Ledger.

'''Parenthesis''' When you find a wizard spell of 1st level or higher, you can add it to the Ledger d'Arcane if it is of a spell level you can prepare and if you can spare the time to decipher and copy it.

For each level of the spell, the process takes 4 hours and costs 100 gp. 

When you have done so, the spell is added to your spells known list, if you don’t have a spells known list it does nothing. You can have only one spell stored like this. Should you go through the process again with a different spell it overwrites the previous spell stored. When you reach 13th level the Ledger gains a second slot to store a spell that gets added to your spells known list.
