The capital of [[Loveria]] is home to about 50,000 souls. Officially it is run by a council of 'law keepers' but they are completely in the pocket of the merchant houses. The city is known for its many artists, bon vivants, and junkies, due to the permissive nature of the country.

Korint is well known for its yellow arches that can be found all over the city. These beautifully carved wooden arches are placed in the middle of many streets for purely decorative purposes. Once a year during a special festival all inhabitants paint the arch on their street and then have a feast in the shadow of it.

Whitemantles

The thieves' guild of Korint.

Known throughout Korint's underworld, the Whitemantles are the cream of the crop when it comes to spying, thievery and in the very well paying cases, Assasinations of the Loveria region.
While obviously outlawed, Korint officials do not seem to actively hunt Whitemantle members. Due to the nature of the guild, random petty crimes are normally quickly dealt with by the Mantles themselves.
Combined with the obvious number of bribes, the guild is able to flourish in both Korint and the rest of Loveria.

Whitemantle membership is notoriously hard to earn, being a tightly knit group they have to know possible members are trustworty... Honor amongst thieves.

Throughout Korint and in a lesser degree the rest of Loveria the Whitemantles own and operate a number of safehouses, treasuries and fronts.
